RUPES PERFECTION EXCEEDED: Episode 2, Reflections On Endless Summers

gng endless summer image 1

For Episode 2 in the Perfection Exceeded series, we visited Phil Trigger, of Trigger Bros Surfboards. Since the late 60s, they’ve been manufacturing, restoring, and refinishing boards at their shop in Point Leo, on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia.

We were privileged to experience the process of bringing a cool, custom longboard to life, from shaping through final colour, preparation, then lovingly polished to a high gloss finish, by Darren Hack, of Pray4Surf Surf Waxes and Trigger Bros’ resident expert on the finishing stage, using RUPES equipment.

Perfection has always been in our DNA. It carries through each step of product development, manufacture, experience, results, and it amazes us to see this applied by the craft of people like Phil, Darren, and their teams, to keep the dream of endless summers alive.

Presented with thanks to: Phil Trigger of Trigger Bros Surfboards, Point Leo, Victoria, Australia, Darren Hack of Pray4Surf, Surf Waxes, Apparel and Surfboard Polishing, and the entire Trigger Bros team.

Darren uses:
